Fishing: Is a popular activity in the park. There are several lakes in the park, including Lake Liesjärvi, where you can fish for pike, perch, and other freshwater fish. Hook and line fishing and ice fishing are allowed under everyman’s rights, except where restrictions apply.

Birdwatching: The park is home to numerous species of woodpeckers and other birds that build their nests in holes in trees. You can also spot ospreys, black-throated divers, red-necked grebes and whooper swans in the park.

For those who prefer water-based activities, kayaking and canoeing are great options. The park has several lakes where you can paddle around and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. You can bring your own kayak or canoe or rent one.
