Joutsenlampi Tree Trail
Aulangon rengastie/Joutsenlampi, Hämeenlinna
Hämeenlinna
Located in the Aulanko Nature Reserve, the Joutsenlampi Tree Trail is maintained by Metsähallitus, the Finnish state-owned organisation responsible for managing state-owned land and water areas. It is an excellent destination for the whole family. Along the approximately 1-kilometre trail, you can discover up to 56 different tree and shrub species.
Description
The route combines an engaging experience with easy terrain: the section circling Joutsenlampi pond is accessible and suitable for prams and wheelchairs. Beyond the pond, the trail continues into the forest as a more natural, narrow woodland path, offering a contrast between the carefully maintained park landscape and a more natural forest environment.
