Guided tour in English: Exploring the Mystery of Ilkka Juhani Takalo-Eskola

On this guided tour, visitors will explore the Exploring the Mystery of Ilkka Juhani Takalo-Eskola exhibition with a guide.

The exhibition presents seven decades of art by Ilkka Juhani Takalo-Eskola. A visual and performance artist, Takalo-Eskola is known for his spontaneity, personal themes and commitment to visual experimentation. Recurring motifs in his work include fish, self-portraits, flowing water, marshlands, cosmic abstractions and connections between people and nature.

Duration: approximately 45 minutes. The tour starts in the lobby of the Engel Building.

Admission fees: €12 / €10. The guided tour is included in the museum admission fee. Free admission for visitors under 18 years of age, Museum Card holders and holders of the Hämeenlinna City Museums annual pass.
