Evo Hiking Area, hidden gem in Finland

Once you arrive in Finland, the journey to Evo is approximately 140 km (1,5 h) from Helsinki and Tampere, and 190 km (2,5 h) from Turku. The journey can be travelled via train and a bus during the summer season (July – mid August).  In other seasons, the easiest way to get to Evo is by car from Hämeenlinna.

From July to mid August, the bus to Evo runs twice a day from Monday to Saturday. Hop on the bus 810 from Hämeenlinna railway station. Check the bus timetables here. Notice that the bus runs only until 11.8.2026.
