Canoeing trip with SeastarEvents in River Toivanjoki, Janakkala

River paddling in River Toivanjoki in Janakkala!

River Toivanjoki flows from Lake Kesijärvi in Loppi and ends in Lake Alasjärvi at Tervakoski in Janakkala. The river flows calm and can be paddled in both directions.

The river offers beautiful landscapes and its wetlands are of great importance both as a resting place for migratory birds and as a nesting area for wetland birds.

Our paddling trip starts at canoe landing site at the Launostentie 232 bridge, from where we head towards Alasjärvi and the return trip follows the same route to the starting point.

You don’t have to be an expert in paddling: our 2-seated open canoes are safe and steady, and we will give You thorough instructions before paddling.
An extra seat can be placed in the canoe, for example for a child.

We recommend bringing clothes suitable for the weather, some snack, something to drink, a hat and maybe sunglasses.

Our paddling trips can already be booked for the period between 1 May and 30 September 2026 and they are also excellent for first-timers!

Location: Launostentie 232, 12450 Janakkala
Price: 390 eur including 1-6 persons, additional persons 20 eur/person. Price includes guide services and all the equipment needed for paddling.
Group size: 1 – 10 persons.
Meeting place: Canoe landing site at the Launostentie 232 bridge with a few parking spaces for cars.

The total length of the paddling trip is about 10 km and the duration is about 3 hours.
