Idyllic and cosy Hotel Maakunta in the heart of old historical Forssa.
The hotel has been founded in 1940 and was completely renovated in 2008. Many famous Finns such as the former President of Finland, Urho Kekkonen, have stayed here. The hotel has also been a shooting location for the Rauni Mollberg TV movie: ‘Puu kulkee’ and Aki Kaurismäki film: ‘Take care of your scarf, Tatiana’. The hotel building itself is under protection of The Finnish Heritage Agency. Forssa is situated only 1hrs drive away from Helsinki, Turku and Tampere.
