Wilderness Skills Competition

The wilderness skills competition can be organized year-round. The competition can be held at Peace and Privacy’s (Evo Nature Ltd.) accommodation villas, but it can also be organized as a separate event at the Niemisjärvi recreational area in Evo.

The wilderness skills competition is suitable for events like corporate team-building days or even for bachelor or bachelorette parties. Teams of 2—4 people take part in the competition, with minimum group size being 8 participants, and the maximum around 50 participants. The wilderness skills competition can also be combined with outdoor wilderness dining.

This lighthearted competition includes 4—6 surprise checkpoints related to wilderness and nature themes, where participants are tested on both survival skills required in the wilderness and their ability to work as a team.

The competition can even be held in rainy weather or in the winter cold, as some checkpoints can be under a roof or entirely indoors. During darker seasons, headlamps are used. Small prizes are awarded to the members of the winning team at the end.

The difficulty of the tasks is tailored to the client’s requests and the participants’ fitness. The competition checkpoints can be completed on foot, putting the participants’ mental skills to the test rather than their muscles.

The Basic wilderness skills competition challenges the participants in basic outdoor skills and offers small puzzles to solve.

The Pro wilderness skills competition tests the participants’ survival skills in nature and challenges them to solve various problems. This action-packed competition requires a bit of fitness, an adventurous spirit, cleverness, and nimble hands.

Participants in the wilderness skills competition will receive equipment instructions along with their booking confirmation.
