Cruise Hämeenlinna-Visavuori-Tampere

The original route that Silverline owes its name to passes in between the cities of Hämeenlinna and Tamperein the breathtaking sceneries along the lakes Vanajavesi and Pyhäjärvi. On the journey, we will make a special stop at Visavuori where visitors can explore the home studio of the illustrious Art Nouveau sculptor Emil Wikström and drop in at the permanent exhibition dedicated to the satirical cartoons of his grandson, Kari Suomalainen. From Visavuori, it is possible to return to Hämeenlinna or continue the journey to its terminus in Tampere.

Along the route, you’ll see the stunning Aulanko from the water, the churches of Hattula, and of course the medieval castle of Hämeenlinna. The journey includes beautiful bridge passages, and on the Pyhäjärvi side you’ll encounter sights like the impressive Sotkanvirta narrows in Nokia and the striking ridges of Pispala and Pyynikki.
