Let yourself enjoy the peace of nature and the tranquillity of lakeside cliffs. In the Kissaniemi Nature Recreation Area, you'll encounter woods, cliffs and lakeside nature, but probably not many other people. A forest trail takes you along the lakeshore around the headland.
Description
The small and idyllic Kissaniemi Nature Recreation Area is situated at Kanajärvi, on the border of Tammela and Hämeenlinna. Kissaniemi is the tip of the headland, around which natural paths run. The main trail is unmarked, but when there is no snow in the ground, the path is clear and easy to follow. The nature experience is made perfect by a wonderful campfire site on the shore cliffs, where you can enjoy a picnic or stop to admire the surrounding forest, cliffs and lake. There is an outdoor toilet and a woodshed near the campfire site.
