Kissankulman eläinpiha is a warm-hearted animal yard where visitors can get to know the animals up close. In addition to horses and ponies, you can see donkeys, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens and roosters in the cat corner. In the yard you can walk against a pig or a dog as well! There is also a riding school in the Kissankulman eläinpiha. There are also children’s summer camps.
At the Vekkilä Museum Farm, you can visit an authentic traditional courtyard with animals. The domestic animals of the idyllic traditional courtyard and the museum café take its visitors into a heartfelt grandmother atmosphere. In addition to animal yard, Vekkilä has direct sales of organic products from its own farm, as well as lamb and beef meat and bargain milk.
Satu-Aasi Talli in Loppi offers, by appointment, experiences such as “turpatuokio” sessions, where visitors can get to know the members of the donkey herd up close. The farm also organizes walking trips with donkeys in nearby forests and natural sites around Loppi.
