At the Laurinmäki nature and culture area, history, culture, landscape, and diverse nature meet. A network of nature trails runs through the Laurinmäki area, with boards along the way providing information on the environment. Take on the nature trail that will lead you amongst beautiful Finnish forestlands.

The Laurinmäki nature trails start from the croft museum and wind through diverse forests. There are several nature trails marked with different colors: Ketopolku (approx. 1.6 km) and Lähdepolku (approx. 1.2 km) are moderate in difficulty, Laavupolku (approx. 2.8 km) is more challenging, and the new Pappilankylä Nature Trail, approximately 2.5 km long, is scheduled for full completion by 2026.

Along the paths, visitors can enjoy beautiful groves and spruce forests, impressive scenery, and historical cultural landmarks — and take a break at the lean-to shelter.
