Welcome to Forssa National Urban Park. Its history tells of the rapid change from the countryside environment into an industrialized centre within a century. We value our cultural environment, diverse nature and the city area itself. A unique community was formed around the redbrick industrial buildings: the parks, settlements for the working class, schools, nurseries and other service buildings as well as the villas for the directors – all these form a special layered town structure. The environmental elements of the park are the River Loimijoki valley and the esker areas.
