Дом рождения Сибелиуса

Великий финский композитор Ян Сибелиус (1865–1957) родился и провел первые 20 лет своей жизни в Хямеенлинна. Дом рождения Сибелиуса, находящийся в центре города, был открыт для широкой публики в 1960-е годы. Здесь представлены личные вещи, документы, фотографии и мебель, принадлежавшая композитору и позволяющие проникнуться бытом середины XIX века.

Само создание было построено в 1834 году, а после ремонта в 2007 здесь появилась спальня маленького Яна. Интерьер дома воссоздан по образцу этого жилища начала 1960-х годов. А еще молодой Сибелиус здесь даёт получасовые концерты по предварительному заказу.
