Hunting Museum of Finland
Located in Riihimäki, the Hunting Museum of Finland provides a comprehensive overview of the history of Finnish hunting from the Stone Age to today. The museum's specialities include an exhibition of big game hunter Jaakko Ojanperä's trophies of over a hundred different species of animals from Africa, Asia, North America and Europe.
The Guns of Finland exhibition presents Finnish firearms from 1900 to 1985. All of the firearms on display are from the museum's own collection. The 'Thrill of the Hunt' exhibition is an interactive audiovisual experience, which allows the visitor to join a virtual hunting expedition.
