Liesjärvi National Park offers a wide range of natural experiences to everyone from wilderness veterans to families with children wanting to commune with nature. The national park has numerous marked trails (1.5–5 km in length), along which visitors will be able to admire the beautiful Tavastian landscapes, magnificent ridge and lake scenery. For example, on one of the most popular trails, visitors can hike from Ahonnokka to the spectacular Kyynäränharju Ridge, which cuts right through Lake Liesjärvi. From there, the trail runs down to the Korteniemi Heritage Farm, which hosts nature tours and events. There are several campfire and dining sites, camping areas, a lean-to, kota (traditional Lapp tent), two rental huts and a rentable smoke sauna in the park.
